New Phone Number Lookup Service Available for NPAC Users
BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – May 30, 2018: iconectiv, a partner of the global communications industry connecting more than two billion people every day, today announced iconectiv® TruNumber Finder, the authoritative telephone number lookup solution for service providers, service bureaus and providers of telecom-related services.
TruNumber Finder simplifies number management, confirms customer acquisition and enhances customer service by providing a full, fast and accurate view of the telephone number information needed to instantly troubleshoot customer-related issues related to call completion and number porting.
TruNumber Finder is a new service, available to authorized users of the U.S. Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC) that provides a simple and secure way to keep track of the more than 30 million telephone numbers ported each year . The web-based tool aggregates data from disparate systems to provide near real-time access to key attributes of a phone number including line type, line ownership and line location. This insight helps users resolve customer service issues related to call completion and efficiently manage number pooling and administration related to number block exceptions. It also helps streamline operations by providing a way to rapidly identify and resolve number management issues.
“Data that is not current or only available across widely distributed and disparate systems, makes it difficult for service providers to deliver the best possible experience to their customers,” said George Cray, Vice President, Information Solutions, iconectiv. “The speed, convenience and reliability of TruNumber Finder helps customer service representatives and number pooling administrators protect their customers, their brand and their revenue.”
TruNumber Finder derives its data from two critical and authoritative sources: the Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC), and the LERG® Routing Guide, which provides the most comprehensive routing data direct from the Telecom Routing Administration.
