Woman to Watch: iconectiv’s Tara Flynn Condon
Recently named to the 2018 Rising Leaders Program by the Women in Cable Telecommunications association, Tara Flynn Condon estimates that in her 20-year career she helped launch more than $1 billion worth of products. Condon has worked in software and telecom/cable although the bulk of her career has been spent at a defense and aerospace company, tackling everything from microelectronics to things like satellites in space and security technology.
She has primarily served in marketing roles, but that evolved: In the past 10 years, she’s also taken on corporate development, investor relations and public relations that’s marketing adjacent. Most recently, she’s taken on the role of chief of staff for a business unit of iconectiv, whose primary buyers are global telecommunication service providers, including wireless, cable, mobile and IT companies.
iconectiv helps service providers manage their networks better. “The most exciting thing that I’m working on now is the execution of our new business unit strategy,” she says. Condon recently spoke to SheReports about her career, how women solve problems and how important it is for women to support other women.
