Change Management Analyst
Responsibilities:
The Change Management Analyst is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of changes within the organization. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that the company's change activities are properly documented, approved, and executed within a reasonable timeframe. The Change Management Analyst also works closely with various teams to assess the impact of changes on security measures and ensures that these changes are implemented in a controlled and secure manner.
- Maintain change management process documentation templates and standards to promote a consistent way of defining and thinking about the process
- Support development and maintenance of ITSM Roadmap, iconectiv ITSM Process Architecture Model and Process Relationship Map
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and follow change management procedures
- Evaluate the risk and potential impact of changes, facilitate risk assessment
- Monitor and enforce compliance with the organization's security policies and standards during the change process.
- Ensure that all changes align with relevant legal and regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Obtain necessary approvals from appropriate stakeholders for changes.
- Facilitate change advisory board (CAB) meetings to assess and authorize changes.
- Communicate change schedules, status, and impact to relevant stakeholders.
- Produce regular reports on change management activities and metrics.
- Participate in post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of change requests.
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the change management process.
- Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for employees on change management best practices.
In addition the role responsibilities include:
- Managing the policy, standards and procedures framework for Information Security & IT Risk/Compliance,
- Obtaining necessary approval from appropriate stakeholders for security-related changes.
- Review proposed changes to identify potential security risks and conflicts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all security-related changes.
Requirements:
Candidates for this role must have direct experience with the following:
- Proven experience in change management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum 3- years ITIL experience, preferably with at least an ITIL Foundations Certification
- Previous experience with ServiceNow or a similar ITSM tool
- Skilled in technical documentation
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, without close direction or supervision
- Skilled with MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Excel, MS-SharePoint, Visio and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- US Citizenship Required
**Hybrid employees must live within 75 miles of the iconectiv office in Bridgewater, New Jersey, which is the in-person office location where the employee will report when working in-person
Additional Skills:
- Ability to interact with all levels of iconectiv management
- Outstanding verbal communication and interviewing skills
- Knowledge concerning Information Security and Information Technology industry risks, solutions, and mitigating controls
- Understanding of network protocols
- Understanding information security principles, standards, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
- Certification in information security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is a plus.
