Senior Storage/Systems Engineer
Responsibilities:
Candidate will be responsible specifying, architecting, deploying, upgrading, maintaining, and monitoring lab infrastructure. Provide troubleshooting support to QA and Operations as needed. Participate in the review of requirements and Product Test planning and execution. As necessary, responsible for/participates in overall architecture design, third party hardware and software evaluation and computing platform selection. As necessary, participate on teams involved in cross product solutions and interfaces to other products.
Requirements:
- Must have experience with Storage Administration (Dell XtremIO, PowerStore, Unity, Oracle ZFS)
- Server Virtualization (VMWare)
- Linux / Solaris Systems Administration (RedHat / Oracle Linux 7.x, 8.x, 9.x, Solaris 11.4)
- LDAP Server experience (e.g. OpenLDAP or OpenDJ)
- Internet Infrastructure (e.g. DNS, SNMP, SMTP, NTP, NFS)
- Experience with scripting and small-scale software Development (e.g. python, bash)
- Excellent teaming and collaboration skills, including working with Testers and Operations staff
- Develop and maintain technical documentation required to support the project (e.g. MOPs and Runbooks)
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years experience
- US Citizenship required

Additional Skills:
- Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
- Java Application Server support experience (e.g. JBossEAP and Tomcat)

Contract, Senior Linux Systems Engineer
Six month contract with possibility of extension or Right to Hire
Responsibilities:
- Administration of Redhat, CentOS, and other Linux operating systems
- Satellite management, scripting languages, and puppet/chef/ansible automation
- Configuration, maintenance and respond to the alerts of the monitoring system
- Prepare for new product related releases and assists with new initiatives and upgrades
- Work with our product development team to implement and support new client offerings
- Explore and integrate new technologies, transitioning operations from traditional administration and deployment to infrastructure as application leveraging automation/configuration management technologies
- Work with Security initiatives including hardening of golden images, OS patch lifecycles, fixing vulnerabilities, implementing PAM/SSO, and other security related projects
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience as Linux Administrator
- Occasional work after hours or weekends at our co‐location facility
- Rotational after‐hours support with 24/7 on-call duty
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science or 10+ years of experience in lieu of degree

Additional Skills:
- Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and understanding of code and script (Bash, PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)
- Experience with managing virtual assets in VMware environments
- Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes or Redhat Openshift clusters
- Experience with Redhat IPA and Okta
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and experience in IP networking and static routing SFTP, SSH, SMTP, DNS, HTTPS, DHCP, Syslog logging facility
- iconectiv has a footprint in AWS, Azure and Google cloud providers. The person coming onboard must be experienced in administration of one or more of the cloud providers
- Experience with Avamar backups and recovery or similar backup tools
- Experience in a high‐availability, mission critical environment, and disaster recovery testing
